Caring Mental Health Support, online in the comfort of your home
At Leah Rose Therapy, you'll receive personalised support tailored to who you are and what you need right now. I remain attentive not only to what you say, but also to what you don't say—noticing patterns, silences, and the small details that can reveal deeper meaning.
Together, we'll work in a goal-oriented and future-focused way. We'll set clear, achievable aims and regularly review your progress, so your time in therapy feels purposeful and keeps you moving towards the future you want, at a pace that feels manageable and sustainable.
If you're looking for thoughtful, practical support from someone who truly listens, I'd love to work with you.
About me
I’m Leah, an Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT).
Training and qualifications:
Postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (Adult IAPT), Kings College London.
Postgraduate certificate in Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Interventions for Common Mental Health Problems, University College London.
Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology with a professional placement year, Sussex University.
My experience:
I have worked within NHS Talking Therapies services since 2020. I began as a Clinical Support Worker before completing my Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Interventions, which led to my role as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner and later Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, a position I held for two years.
In 2024, I completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies at King’s College London and now work as a qualified CBT therapist.
Prior to joining the NHS, I worked as an Assistant Psychologist with older adults living with dementia. I also worked as a Support Worker working with children and young people with epilepsy and associated neurological conditions, including learning disabilities and learning difficulties.
Who I’ve worked with:
Over the last nine years working within mental health services, I’ve supported young people, adults, and older adults experiencing a wide range of emotional difficulties. These include anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), low self-confidence, stress, panic, phobias, social anxiety, health anxiety and life difficult transitions.
My specialisms:
As a woman, I have a particular interest in women's mental health, including pregnancy and the perinatal and postnatal period, hormonal and long-term health conditions such as PCOS and endometriosis, and the menopause and perimenopause.
I am also an autistic therapist, bringing lived experience of neurodiversity alongside my professional training. This enables me to offer an inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming approach, adapting therapy to suit different communication styles, sensory needs, and ways of thinking.
